Groin Pain 'OP'
Groin pain or OP as it is commonly known in AFL circles plagues athletes and can sideline an athlete for an entire season. In my travels, I was lucky enough to work out of a clinic that was owned and run by an OP guru. He taught me his OP protocol and how to deal with the most stubborn case, I am extremely grateful to this individual, role model, and mentor.
Rib fracture, Rib pain!
Rib fractures plague Rowers, typically lighter Rowers and can severely impact a Rowers career. I have had the opportunity to work with many Rowers and consequently, I have encountered many cases of rib pain and rib fractures.
The body is a system of systems and nothing exists in isolation, this is true for a rib fracture, the body compensates, becomes tight through the erector spinae, and intercostals, weakness also accompanies the pattern.
No matter how severe the rib fracture, there can always be an improvement, pain reduced, and movement improved.
