Brisbane City Hall

The Heritage-listed project of the Brisbane City Council between 1920 and 1930 this amazing city hall was built and it lies in the heart of the city situated at the coastline of the Brisbane River. The Brisbane City hall is a perfect venue for the occasions and it does justice to the events with the help of its broad marble staircases, vaulted roofs, crystal fixtures, and mosaic-tiled floor.  Having experienced a $215 million rebuilding, City Hall is an ideal place that reflects Brisbane's history. There are daily guided tours conducted by the museum authority to take the audience on a tour of the Main Auditorium, Father Henry Willis Organ and the notable Clock Tower.

 

Another great part of the City hall is the Museum of Brisbane. It is an utter exhibition of fine arts and contemporary presentations by a portion of the city's art specialists are likewise on the show. 

Events 

The Brisbane City Hall reopened in 2003 after the three years renovation process and came out as a sharp and solid venue preserving the heritage essence of the place alive. The Brisbane City Hall is opened for the general public all seven days a week and it is quite an honor to visit this amazing venue reflecting the history of Brisbane. Attached to the City hall is King George Square which is home to the game nights, parades, open-air markets and much more. 

The Museum of Brisbane 

Brisbane City Hall has this amazing Museum if Brisbane which is no wonder a must-visit place for the people visiting Brisbane. The Museum is situated at the Level 3 of the City Hall. The Museum represents the amazing history of Brisbane and how the people of Brisbane have evolved over time. 

The museum is open for public seven days a week during 10 am to 5 pm. The closing timings for the Fridays is extended till 7 PM and people may enjoy their weekend on this knowledgeable trip to the Museum of Brisbane. 

Clock Tower Tour 



You can ride up to the top of the Clock Tower to take a nice tour of this iconic part of the city hall. It is opened for the general public seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm and the entry for this amazing tour is absolutely free but what needs to be considered is that the number of tickets for a day is limited and they are served on the first come, first served basis. So, make sure you arrive early to grab your tickets for this memorable and exciting tour. C
