Meet Wade

I have been passionate about health for as long as I can remember, I grew up playing many sports, and had my fair share of injuries.  I saw many physios over the years and from a young age I wanted to work with the human body. I have been working as a Remedial Massage Therapist for over a decade now and treated 1000’s of people. I have been lucky enough to work with some of the best deep tissue massage therapists, and remedial massage therapists, in the industry, of which I have learned so much. I have been obsessed with learning as much as I can about my craft, attending many workshops and courses over the years to improve my skills. I am intrigued by the human body, I love movement, biomechanics, and helping people.

Your goal is important to me!

Health and wellness have been a passion of mine for a very long time, I have studied the following:

  • Multiple forms of bodywork, such as;
  • Remedial Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Shiatsu
  • Lomi Lomi
  • Active Release, Muscle Energy Techniques,
  • Dry Needling,
  • Cupping,
  • Dorn Therapy, and more.
  • Movement practices,
  • Multiple Martial Arts,
  • Qigong, Somatics, Dance,
  • Nutrition, whole foods, organics, macrobiotics, juicing, superfoods, fasting, etc.

I hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage which enables you to claim on the spot with your health insurance provider.  I am also fully insured and constantly upskill to keep up with what is happening in the industry. I have massaged 1000’s of people, I have spent 1000’s of hours working with every type of injury, accident, condition you can think of. The subtleties that come with performing 1000’s of hours of hands-on experience cannot come from a book or a piece of paper, they must be learned and unfortunately, as the dropout rate is very high I am not sure if they average therapist every treats 1000 people.

Office workers and Gym Junkies

In the past 10 years of working as a Remedial Massage Therapist throughout Australia, office workers and gym goers have been my bread and butter, if this is you read on. The modern office worker is so ‘wound up’ through the neck and shoulders it is of epidemic proportions.  Excessive sitting, stress, and posture more than likely forms the basis for this tension through the body, the good news is your tension can be relieved dramatically and quickly, this is my forte. Gym goers, I know you want to keep training, you have goals that you are trying to achieve, eg; lose weight, gain muscle, overhead squat, etc.  The good news is, you can always reduce pain and improve movement.  I have been working with PT’s and their clients for years and years and have some astounding results, read a few of the testimonials here I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the Wallabies. I have worked with the Brisbane Broncos. I have worked with many Athletes from the AIS over the years, specifically athletes that have large asymmetries such as Tennis and squash players.  I really enjoy the journey of working with the imbalances that these athletes encounter such as overdeveloped arms, rotations through their hips, lower back pain, knee pain etc. I have worked with multiple Australian Swimmers, some are gold medalist Olympians.  They know their bodies so well and are so receptive to the deep work I do, which leads to tangible results and outcomes.  I enjoy being able to keep them doing what they love, I feel so privileged to have worked with such a high caliber athlete. Apart from the Athletes above, I guarantee I have treated someone just like you, whether you suffer from:

  • Neck pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Headaches
  • Lower back pain
  • Hip pain
  • Hamstring pain
  • Groin pain
  • plantar fascia
  • calf pain

I encourage you to read the testimonials, let your curiosity get the better of you. Wade the Massage Guy is the founder of KINETIC
