Kangaroo Point Remedial

The differences between Remedial Massage and Swedish Massage are as follows:

Swedish Massage is associated with a relaxation type or style of massage and is usually performed in Day Spas or Beauty Salons around the world

Swedish Massage is typically a certificate in massage and often can be obtained quickly in a matter of a few weekends.

Swedish Massage Therapists use a lowing type of massage stroke and with a lot of oil, similar to a gliding soft to medium pressure. That aim to relax the client and stimulate blood flow.

Swedish Massage can be a great way to de-stress, unwind and relax.  There have been many studies conducted all around the world to show that Swedish Massage can lower stress levels and impove the mood of a client

The differences between Remedial Massage and Swedish Massage are the following:

  • Remedial Massage is a Diploma Qualification where Swedish is just a certificate
  • Remedial Massage takes a very clinical view where Swedish is more suited to relaxation.

The list above is by no means conclusive at all.
