You can see patterns now.
You notice movement.
You notice compensation.
You notice breathing.
You notice asymmetries.
You notice changes in tissue.
You ask better questions.
Your hands are becoming more sensitive.
But then the difficult client arrives.
The presentation doesn't fit neatly into a category.
The painful area isn't telling the whole story.
You release something — but the movement still isn't right.
You find something that feels restricted — but you're not sure what it means.
A muscle appears weak.
Another feels dominant.
A client can move, but not with confidence.
You make a change, but something doesn't integrate.
And suddenly you're back to asking:
“What am I missing?”

I noticed a significant improvement in my mobility, muscle tension after the session. Calan has an incredible ability to find the source of pain and use the right combination of techniques to achieve lasting results. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, caring, and genuinely passionate about helping people move and feel better, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.Posted on Google Brett MercerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A very thorough professional analysis of my issues. Explanation on why and the process to help rectify. Left feeling very much improved. Dillian knows his stuff 👍🏻Posted on Google MetzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Been here second time now with Dillian and my partner goes to see Calan. Both really good therapists delivering proper remedial massages to get results, they know their stuff. Thanks again and see you again soon!Posted on Google Lucas BresslerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Exactly what I needed. Dillian found exactly what was wrong and released my whole body from years of built-up tension. Highly recommend.Posted on Google Maddie AitkenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve followed Luiz from his previous clinic because he’s just that good. As an athlete, having the right massage therapist makes a huge difference, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, always takes the time to understand what’s going on, and tailors every treatment to what I need. A genuine asset to the team, I couldn’t recommend him morePosted on Google Nicole RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dillian is all but magician material! Went in with severe, acute neck pain and it’s easily 80% better after just one visit. He gets in there to relieve the issue immediately, sans any of your typical therapists who will often start with the hard sell.Posted on Google Jane UrenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They got me in quickly. Identified and clearly explained my issue & what needed to be done to resolve it. While it was a little painful, I'm a whimp, I felt the benefits immediatelyPosted on Google AngelaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had an excellent session with Miki. I was in so much pain with a frozen shoulder. She assessed my posture, identified and explained the problem areas she wanted to focus on, then she set to work. She frequently checked to make sure I was okay with the pressure she was applying. I agree with previous reviewers - Miki is knowledgeable and strong, but she is also very kind and considerate. I felt comfortable and relaxed with her. Overall, I felt fortunate to be in her care and I would highly recommend her.Posted on Google Jackie MoorheadTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kinetic is well located in the CBD. Appointments can be made online, which keeps things simple. I had Miki as my practitioner & she was kind & knowledgeable but strong! Really appreciated her work on my body to get me back on track whilst visiting Brisbane. Highly recommend 🌟Load more
Level 1 developed your ability to notice.
Level 2 takes that ability deeper.
We spiral back through the KINETIC framework and begin asking more sophisticated questions:
Why does this pattern exist?
What is maintaining it?
What is the relationship between the apparently tight and weak structures?
What is the person protecting?
What happens when we influence one part of the system?
What changes when the person actively participates?
What does the nervous system tell us through movement and response?
How do we know whether we've actually created useful change?
This is where Clinical Intelligence becomes Clinical Wisdom.
KINETIC Level 2 isn't ultimately about releasing tissue.
It isn't about making a muscle stronger.
It isn't about finding the “correct” posture.
It isn't about chasing the painful area.
Those are interventions.
The bigger question is:
Can we help the person become more connected to themselves and their movement?
More awareness.
More options.
More confidence.
More adaptability.
More connection between sensation and movement.
More communication between intention and action.
Release → reconnect → engage → integrate.
That is the Level 2 spiral.
A body can become highly organised around protection.
A person may repeatedly use the same movement strategy.
A muscle may appear under-recruited while another continually dominates.
A region may become stiff because the system has learned to create stability there.
A movement may become limited because it doesn't feel safe, familiar or efficient.
These are complex relationships.
Level 2 teaches you to investigate rather than assume.
We explore:
This is one of the biggest shifts in Level 2.
Instead of simply identifying the muscle that feels tight:
What is its role?
What is it compensating for?
What is happening elsewhere?
What changes when we alter the relationship?
What does muscle testing reveal?
What does movement reveal?
What does the client report?
What happens after intervention?
You're no longer collecting findings.
You're building a model.
Level 2 explores pattern recognition through multiple lenses.
Explore relationships between dominant, inhibited, under-recruited and compensating structures.
Look beyond isolated joints and muscles toward whole-body strategies.
Explore how the nervous system coordinates movement, sensation and adaptation.
Investigate continuity, restriction, load transfer and movement across regions.
Observe how breath interacts with posture, movement and state.
Explore how people may organise movement around pain, threat, habit or perceived instability.
Ask what the body is trying to accomplish rather than simply what looks “wrong.”
Level 2 takes the KINETIC approach to muscle testing deeper, including influences from NeuroKinetic Therapy and related functional assessment approaches.
The objective isn't to turn a muscle test into a diagnosis.
It's to make it another source of information.
Test.
Observe.
Interpret cautiously.
Intervene.
Re-test.
Learn.
A muscle test becomes part of a larger feedback system.
And the question changes from:
“Is this muscle weak?”
to:
“What does this response tell me about how this person is organising movement right now?”
Level 2 develops the hands-on foundations introduced in Level 1.
We go deeper into:
Myofascial Release
Deep tissue work
Fascial techniques
Trigger Point approaches
Active Release concepts
Structural integration influences
KINETIC Touch™
But depth isn't measured by pressure.
Depth is measured by understanding.
You learn to work with tissue purposefully rather than simply harder.
A meaningful change in tissue doesn't automatically create a meaningful change in movement.
So after release, we ask:
What does the person do with the new possibility?
This is where activation becomes important.
We explore ways of bringing attention and participation back into structures that may be under-recruited or poorly coordinated.
Feel it.
Find it.
Engage it.
Move with it.
Reassess.
Movement is information.
When someone actively explores a new movement possibility, they aren't simply “strengthening a muscle.”
They're practising a relationship.
Between:
Brain
Sensation
Intention
Muscle
Joint
Breath
Environment
Movement
This is where KINETIC brings together hands-on work and movement education.
The table and the floor become part of the same conversation.
This is the destination.
Not:
“We fixed the hip.”
Not:
“We released the fascia.”
Not:
“We activated the glute.”
But:
“What happens when the person moves as a more connected whole?”
Integration may involve:
Awareness
Coordination
Stability
Mobility
Breathing
Movement
Confidence
Communication
Participation
The goal is not simply change.
The goal is useful change that the person can embody.
This is an important philosophical shift within KINETIC.
Rather than constantly asking:
“What's wrong?”
we can ask:
“What is this person capable of when unnecessary constraints are reduced?”
There may be an innate capacity for adaptability, coordination, exploration and expression.
We can call this the blueprint.
Not a perfect anatomical position.
Not one ideal posture.
Not a rigid template.
A metaphor for the person's potential to organise, adapt and express movement.
Our job isn't to force the person into a blueprint.
It's to help create the conditions where more possibilities become available.
They're participating in the process.
Level 2 therefore goes deeper into:
Language
Questions
Listening
Explanation
Client perception
Body awareness
Feedback
The words you choose can change how a person understands their experience.
And the questions you ask can reveal information that no physical test can provide.
Don't tell the client what their body means.
Help them discover what they're experiencing.
That's communication as clinical intelligence.
Level 1 introduced the idea.
Level 2 spirals deeper.
Listen to:
THE WORDS
What is the client actually saying?
THE BODY
What is movement communicating?
THE BREATH
What changes when attention or effort changes?
THE TISSUE
What happens under your hands?
THE MICRO-GESTURES
What happens between the obvious movements?
THE RESPONSE
What changes after intervention?
THE SILENCE
What isn't being said?
THE CONTEXT
What is happening around the person?
This is multi-dimensional data collection.
Level 2 is where sense development becomes more sophisticated.
You're no longer simply trying to become more sensitive.
You're learning how to manage sensitivity intelligently.
Because more information isn't necessarily better.
Too little information → guesswork.
Too much information → overwhelm.
Useful information → intelligence.
The skill is distillation.
To take hundreds of subtle observations and identify the few that might actually matter.
Observe everything.
Identify what matters.
Test it.
Let feedback teach you.
That is hyperhuman sense-making.

And the spiral begins again.
At first you might think:
“Which technique should I use?”
Then:
“What does this person need?”
Then:
“What information do I have?”
Then:
“What am I hypothesising?”
Then:
“How can I test that?”
And eventually:
“What is this person teaching me?”
That is the transition we're interested in.
From technician → to practitioner.
From practitioner → to clinician.
From clinician → to craftsman.

Connecting everything into one coherent system.
Not another sequence.
Not another protocol.

You're learning to ask better questions.
You're learning to collect better information.
You're learning to distinguish signal from noise.
You're learning to build and test hypotheses.
You're learning to use your hands as instruments of perception.
You're learning to connect release with active participation.
You're learning to listen to the client.
You're learning to listen to yourself.
You're learning to listen to the system.
You're learning how to think through the body.
Level 2 is intentionally for people who have already begun developing the KINETIC framework.
It's for the practitioner who thinks:
“I can see it now. I want to understand it.”
“I can feel something happening. I want to know how to work with it.”
“I know techniques. I want a system.”
“I want to trust my clinical reasoning.”
“I want to become exceptional.”
You completed Level 1 and want to spiral deeper.
You already have hands-on experience.
You're fascinated by complex presentations.
You want to understand muscle relationships.
You want to develop your assessment skills.
You want to explore fascia more deeply.
You want to understand movement and compensation.
You want to integrate hands-on work with active movement.
You want to develop your sensitivity.
You want to become better at interpreting subtle information.
You want to communicate more effectively.
You want to build a coherent clinical method.
You want to stop relying on recipes.
You want to become more independent in your thinking.
And you're ready to take responsibility for your development.
Level 2 isn't the finish line.
It's where the system starts becoming embodied.
You take it into your clinic.
You test it.
You make mistakes.
You question it.
You adapt it.
You develop your own voice.
