How to fix shin splints

All roads start in the feet!  Typically our arches are comprised which lead to a ‘domino effect’ throughout the body, plantar fascia, Achilles issues, tight calves, sore knees, hip pain, kinks, rotations, lower back pain and the list goes on.

Shin splints typically have a few themes:

  • Impact, running on hard surfaces – Tip, run on the grass.
  • Tight calves – Tip, roll and release your soleus.
  • Tight feet – Tip, roll your plantar fascia

Lastly, in some cases, you just need to rest and give those micro traumas along shin time to chill out.
